Gujarat Titans defeated Chennai Super Kings by five wickets in the IPL match played in Ahmedabad last evening.
Gujarat Taitans Captain Pandya won the toss and chose to bowl first. Batting first got off to a bad start. Devon Conway could only score one run and was dismissed by Mohammed Shami. Rituraj Gaikwad of Chennai batted well. He scored the highest 92 runs, Alzarri Joseph dismissed Rituraj, Ben Stokes scored only seven, and Rayudu scored 12 runs. Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 14 not out in 7 balls.
While bowling for Gujarat, Rashid Khan, Alzarri Joseph, and Mohammed Shami took two wickets each, and Joshua Little took one wicket.
In response, the team of Gujarat Titans came out to bat and won the match by scoring 182 runs. Shubman Gill scored the maximum 63 runs from Gujarat. Wriddhiman Shah scored 25. Sai Sudarshan scored 22, and Vijay Shankar scored 27 runs. In the end, Rashid Khan scored ten runs in 3 balls and won the match for Gujarat.
