Lucknow Super Giants beat Delhi Capitals by 50 runs in IPL last evening. Delhi captain David Warner won the toss earlier and decided to bowl first. While batting first, the Lucknow team scored 193 runs, and Myers scored the highest 73 runs for Lucknow. Akshar Patel dismissed Myers. Wicketkeeper-batsman Puran scored 36 runs, and Lucknow’s captain Rahul scored only eight. Bowling for Delhi, Khaleel Ahmed and Chetan Sakaria took two wickets each, while Akshar and Kuldeep got one wicket each.
In response, the Delhi team could score only 143 runs after coming out to bat. Captain Warner scored the highest 56 runs from Delhi. While bowling for Lucknow, Mark Wood took the maximum of five wickets, while Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi got two wickets each.
