Team David scored the maximum 31 runs from Mumbai.

In response, Chennai Super Kings won the match by achieving 159 runs. Rahane scored the highest 61 runs for Chennai. Opener batsman Rituraj played an inning of 40 runs. Piyush Chawla, Kartikeya, and Behrendoff took one wicket each for Mumbai.
