Batting first after winning the toss, the Delhi Capitals Women’s team got all out for just 105 runs. Then the Mumbai team went to bat and won the match in 15 overs. For Mumbai, wicket-keeper batsman Yastika Bhatia scored 41 runs. Mathews also played an inning of 32 runs. After this, Nate Siever Brunt and captain Harmanpreet Kaur won Mumbai while remaining unbeaten. Nate Siever Brunt remained unbeaten after scoring 23 runs and Harmanpreet 11 runs. Meg Lanning scored 43 runs from Delhi Capitals, while Jemima Rodrigues scored 25. Mathews, Saika, and Wang took three wickets each for Mumbai Indians Women.
Mumbai Indians beat Gujarat Giants by 143 runs in the tournament’s first match, Whereas in their second match, Mumbai defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore Women by nine wickets.
Delhi Capitals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 60 runs in their first match, While beating UP Warriors by 42 runs.
