Delhi Capitals Women won the match by defeating Mumbai Indians Women by nine wickets in the Women’s Premier League last evening. With this win, Delhi Capitals have occupied the top spot in the points table. Batting in this match, the Mumbai team could only score 109 runs in 20 overs. Pooja Vastrakar scored the maximum 26 runs from Mumbai. Captain Harmanpreet and Wong scored 23 – 23 runs. While bowling for Delhi, Marizan Kapp, Jonnsen, and Shikha Pandey took two wickets each.
In contrast, Arundhati Reddy took one wicket. In response, the team Delhi Capitals came out to bat and won the Game by achieving 110 runs in 9 overs. Capsy scored the highest 38 runs, from Delhi. While Shefali Verma scored 33 and captain Meg Lanning scored 32 runs, Shefali Verma was dismissed by Mathews after scoring 33 runs. Only Hayley Mathews was able to take wickets from the Mumbai side.
